The hotel had a slight smell in the rooms initially and took a while to cool down after sundown, but overall, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and inviting. Parking was easily accessible. The service was friendly and very lively; the staff was helpful and friendly, always ready to assist. The location was beautiful and quiet, just a short distance from the boardwalk, although a bit far from downtown Santa Cruz. The dining experience offered convenient options, even if limited. Upon checking in, we found the hotel in a great location near town, but sadly the room we initially had was dark and cave-like, though it seemed brand new once we got to our proper room. The service was extremely warm and welcoming, with the staff trying their best to accommodate us, even though some promises fell through. The location was excellent, being very close to everything we needed, despite the initial bad smell in the area. The dining options were decent but could have had more variety, especially for longer stays.
